The purpose of Citizens for an Enterprising Democracy is to promote effective leadership to maintain a strong and enterprising democracy.
Citizens for an Enterprising Democracy- CCE is empowered to raise funds for the purpose of furthering these principles; to make contributions from such funds to those persons seeking public office, who by their acts have demonstrated an interest in implementing these principles; to employ such persons as necessary to further the purposes of the Committee; to operate a committee of continuous existence in accord with the provisions of Chapter 106, Florida Statutes, as it now exists or may hereafter be amended; and to do any and all things necessary or desirable for the attainment of these purposes.
Citizens for an Enterprising Democracy-CCE operates under Florida Statute 106.071. Floridians have complete access to all financial records through this public website- www.CEDCCE.com. Citizens for an Enterprising Democracy-CCE discloses the names of individuals and entities donating to, as well as those receiving disbursements from, this CCE on this web site within five business days of depositing such donations and making such disbursements.
Furthermore, no officer or director of this CCE will solicit, cause to have solicited or accept any contributions on behalf of Citizens for an Enterprising Democracy-CCE during a regular or special Session of the Florida Legislature
Citizens for an Enterprising Democracy-CCE was founded by Florida State Representative Chris Dorworth. He is a part time legislator, real estate investor, developer and consultant, an advocate for the reduction of burdensome government regulations and a strong believer in aggressive economic development in our state. Florida State Representative Jason Brodeur is also authorized to solicit and accept contributions on behalf of Citizens for an Enterprising Democracy CCE. Another individual associated with this organization is Jeff Bauer, Treasurer.
